Persuasive arguement
I do not support mr. Hyde at all. I think that mr. Hyde did murder sir carew because the servant witnessed it. Also, when the police where examining the corpse, the police found half a cane which was also founded in hyde's house. Hyde mysteriously disappears right after the murder which is a big question. In addition, the book stated the "murderer" trampled over man's body; the same way mr.hyde tramples over that girl three in the morning. I think all of this information gathers up to one point, that mr. Hyde murdered this innocent man.

I can see from this blog that you have decided which side you would be on. However, I need to remind you that the point of view you should be writing in should be as an attorney speaking to a jury. You will need and opening and closing statement that is powerfully worded and captivating. The middle of your writing/speech should highlight/recap all of the reasons for prosecuting Hyde that were brought to light during the trial. You might divide your paragraphs by thinking about your reasons for prosecuting: first your evidence, witnesses, actual events, etc. next, other events that Hyde took part in that show his evil character and the likelihood that he committed this murder, finally, think of a last reason (think about what this jury might take seriously. Remember these people are Victorian citizens. What do they care most about? Use this to your advantage!) One last hint: try to watch some courtroom TV drama or view some clips on youtube that will help you pick up some of he legal language and phrases for a more realistic sound to you writing/speech. Best of luck.
